I am 18 years old, and attending a community college. I have been job searching for the past 2 years, and no one will hire me. I have applied online and in-person at retail stores, pet shop, hotels, resturant, convenience stores, gift/card shops, and at coffee shops. I've put in at the minnimum of 30 applications in the past 2 years. I am dressing neatly when I present myself for a job, but still no one will hire me. I even applied for jobs at supermarkets that claimed to be help wanted.

I can't do any Christmas shopping this year, because of a lack of money. I have bills I will need to pay in about a month. I don't know how I will pay those bills. I have applied for jobs, at everywhere near where I live. I ran out of options and in terrible need of a job. I have applied at almost every buisness in my town.

What should I do?

Keep looking and keep trying, even if you get a job at a convenient store or being a waiter its still a job, you need to get some type of work experience behind you. Try temp agencies. etc.. When I was out of work and looking I would put in 8-9 applications a day. So you need to try harder. Also a commute wouldnt hurt try outside of your town.

Have you sold your plasma to earn a bit of money?

Go to your college's job/placement center as they usually have jobs posted. Also ask your counsellor/advisor if they can help you find a job.

Ask your pastor/priest if they know of someone who attends your church who has a business that will hire you.

Go back and re-apply at the places who already turned you down. You may get lucky the 2nd time around.

Look on the help wanted boards at stores. Try your state job service site.

Maybe you could start by re-thinking your profile information. It tells me you're a pervert or just bragging. As an employer, I wouldn't hire you if I read your profile.

30 applications in 104 weeks don't sound much like you're very aggressive about hunting a job. Get motivated.

Good Luck
