Hi folks, and festive greetings.
However -
I yjought it reasonable to put up two strings of twimkling LED jobs acsoss hedges & bushes in the front garden, and in my humble opinion, all 300 of the tiny things seem quite tastefull.
The is one bloke in town that spends ages putting up things like flashing Santas with flashing reindeer, huge "Merry Christmas " fittings, and string upon string of big multi-coloured bulbs.
The place is a fairground, and over the top.
There is even a rotating beacon on the chimney.
Mind, he has painted his pebble-dash house lime green as well.
What sort, if any, a display would you contemplate ?

i myself put up no less than 250000 twinkling led lights just like in the film christmas vacation the kids love it as do the rest of the street not to mention the electric company

Just the one. We always treat the children to a 40 watt light bulb in the bathroom over xmas. Oh the joys of the festive season.

I have a 300 bulb string clipped to my eavestrough and a 60 bulb string in each of two windows in the front of the house. I have neighbors that have every decoration ever made plus all the new blow-up figures in their yards. To me, it looks gaudy.

If we were tae put lights in oor garden, the wee tossers wid soon wreck them. We dinnae huv any lights in the hoose, we gave that up when oor wee dog died. We huv hunners o' cuddly Santas and Snowmen aboot the living room.

i think of the day after Thanksgiving is a great time to place them up. a great number of relatives nevertheless around to help! i love to do it mutually as the components remains heat. even if in case you place them up too early, you do not could desire to start turning the lights furnishings on till after Thanksgiving.
