I simply don't buy things that I can't tumble-dry as a rule.
Your dryer should have a lower temperature setting that you can use, but there are materials that aren't friendly to dryers at all I know.
You may want to find a way to string a clothes line across your utility room and set up a fan.

I put a pole up over the back door in our kitchen, next to the utility room where the dryer and our boiler are sited. The things i cant tumble dry get put onto hangers and onto the curtain pole, they dry in hours.

There is no way to un-shrink anything. You are either washing or drying things too hot. Many clothes are 100% cotton. They shrink really bad, wrinkle too. Wash your clothes in cool water & air dry, no heat. That should help for the future. I keep telling my grandson that if he doesn't stop growing, I'm gonna wash him in hot water to shrink him. Maybe that is a part of your problem too.

Why not put the clothes on hangers then hook them on the door frame of the utility room with the door open. You may find if they are drip-dried like this, they will not need ironing. Then they are all ready to hang back in the wardrobes. (They should be dry if left overnight).

We have this stock room and it is very airy so instead of putting food in it we put clothes in there and it drys in about 4 days to a week.
Plus nobody sees it so no worry about anyone having a peep at my undies!
But maybe you could take them to a laundermats as long as you don't mind spending a couple pounds/dollers x
Plus their tumble dryers are HUGE and you could fit a lot in there!

I have an old fashioned 'pulley' in my kitchen. I just hang the cloths on that and usually they dry overnight. If I use the radiators, the house turns into a sauna and causes bad condensation.

What cant go in the washing machine gets put on the radiators and when they are full on the back of dining chairs but I clear them away before people come round.
