Usually i dont feel special. My birthday is this coming up Thursday (13th), but my sister and my cousin had me a surprise party yesterday. It was the best birthday of my 30 year life. I was so shocked. No one has ever done anything like that for me before.

Yesterday(December 8) was my birthday, and even tho me and my kids have colds, my contacts made me feel very very special. I do not hate my birthdays.
It's a little weird that I'm entering the 3rd decade of my life, but, hey, I'm blessed to have lived this long!!!

I do. I think we should all feel special. Sure its a reminder that you are another year older, but its also a reminder that you made it to see another year. Look around you, and at the news everyone cant say the same thing. We have to be thankful for each year, each day, each minute that we are breathing life. Death is inevitable so we cant see getting older as a fast route to death. Enjoy life while you have it.

I had never had a happy birthday in my life. besides every birthday we have, the more older we get and then we died.
the best age for everyone is like 30 - 40 years old.

It's just another day. Since by birthday is on the 31st (Of December), it's the holiday break, and like i'd really invite someone over to my house to share some nasty cake from a day-old bakery, when they give me some crappy gift since they don't know what I like.

I hate birthdays, 'cause people expect me to bring candy or have a party and then at the party I have to make sure everybody's having fun, and that's too difficult and they sing happy birthday so awfully... and that's why I never tell anyone when my birthday is. :)

hate, last year was 26, and I am a young single female with no kids. When my papa called to wish me happy b-day he also had to remind me of all the things I was lacking, and also that "I'm not getting any younger"!!!! BOOOO Plus now that I am older I don't get presents anymore, so what's the point?
