The parties to the divorce should be separated since last one year from the date of filing of the petition for divorce.
The documentary proof of marriage between the parties is to be filed before the court.
The photographs of the parties are also field along with the petition.

The Family Court takes a summary view of the entire facts of the case and then decides the application for the interim maintenance which is based upon the estimated earnings and level of living of the husband. The court also awards the cost of the proceedings of divorce.
