In what places do magos grow?

They grow like WEEDS! You can plant them anywhere, nearly, and they will grow. Some species require a little more maintenance, in terms of fungicidal sprays, than others. They prefer tropical environs, but large trees can withstand a little freezing weather with minimal loss. If you're growing it too far north, you will want to take it inside when the temps start dipping at night.

The mangos that we consume in the U.S. come from Mexico, usually.

Warm temperate to tropical areas around the world. In the USA most come from Southern Mexico and Central America.
They need warm weather and moist well drained, not soggy soil.
