has anyone got experience of freshmobile ?

i have been with them for a while , its part of carphone warehouse, but recently my phone wouldnt work abroad and they wouldnt give me an answer as to why that was

Fresh Mobile is what is known as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator), which is a fancy term that means they offer their services by piggybacking an existing network. Fresh Mobile use the T-Mobile network to carry their services so if you have had a problem it is more likely to have been a result of a problem T-Mobile have had, Fresh were just affected.
