Honestly, we shouldn't have gone to electronic voting, but it's to little too late now. If you want more info about all this, type this word in google:

diebold voting machines

There are also videos on the issue, where hackers showed how they can easily manipulate votes on the machines, they can even set up viruses to carry the actions out for them. Here's a great article on that:

http://arstechnica.com/etc/How_to_steal_an_election-ArsTechnica.pdf

Also, like he says in the end of that article, this is not very a good situation, because if its ever proven we could really lose control of our whole electoral process, as if we haven't already. ;)

Heres a few more Articles they even hack into it on Engaget:

You can find more stuff about this by looking online for keywords like diebold voting machines and names of people who own these companies, better to search and come to your own conclusion, good luck.

The thing in Florida was caused by people not following instructions. Your vote counts to some extent. Your state gets electoral votes. All the votes go to whoever wins in your state. So you don't vote directly for the president, but you do influence where the electoral votes go for your state. So, if you care who wins, you need to vote.

Florida is proof our votes did count. Still sore over your loss? Dont liberals have anything else to do? You shold be more concerned that you have no good candidates this time around. worried that both your votes didnt count? that is usually what happens with a dem. what a whiner.

The Republicans used any dirty trick in the book to destroy and discredit Democrat votes in the past two elections but no one is willing to help the voters who caught this. This dirty presidency has been illegal ever since Bush was place in it through a stacked Republican deck in the Supreme court.
