Haven spent a over a dozen years in uniform I'm still old fashioned and call every male sir and female ma'am whether they be peers or subordinates (at work) or not.

It just depends, if i go to greet one of my friends i'll be like 'Hey B itch!'
Or if it was someone i don't know i'll be like 'Hey how're going?'
