I ve been on the Acer support site and it said only up to 2gb

Even if the motherboard supports the 4 GB, keep in mind that only 64 bit edition of Windows will see anything over about 3.2 GB.

But in this case, the motherboard doesn't support it going with what the website said. You could call or search the site for a BIOS update that will allow it to accept 4 GB, but that is a long shot.

It has no use to buy for it won't work and when it does it will not recognize 4, the BIOS won't allow this
