First of all - do you even know what the word 'alien' means?
It actually means this, a person who went to another country without and passport or immigration. In other words you call someone an Alien if he or she went to your country without any passport at all. For example if you went from America to England by your boat without any passport or anything then you will be an alien if you went to England.
Anyways as for your question, I think maybe not unless they are desperate to find a home. Remember not all Aliens are evil some are good and some just want to more about life out there just as much as we do. Anyways if the Aliens wanted to take over Earth then they should have done it along time ago and plus Earth's World Army is strong enough to bring them down unless their planet is larger than ours but it might me difficult for them to travel to space because it takes a lot of time.

well i guess you have to ask yourself --- would they want too ! ? .
lets put it this way you have on offer a very old planet that took some time to develop , it came then with climate change and it appears that todays version ( since the evolution of man ) is going down a similar path .
but it's not all doom and gloom for the prespective buyer ( aka alien) they can inherit abject poverty , wars ( civil or otherwise ) disease , greed , politics , haves and have nots --- and just a general run of the mill scenario that you would expect at a flea market .
the one big drama ( however ) of aliens taking over the earth --- is what sort of warranty they would expect to get for their purchase --- after all in todays ' climate ' the world could be 'screwed ' in 50 years or less !! .
but maybe that would suit a propective buyer , who can see a future for the planet .

and balances.
By the time alien forces manage
to get here, we will be advanced enough
to defend ourselves.
And who knows, maybe such an intelligence
will be too logical to wage war.

Maybe, but I'm betting we are way to small to be noticed in this vast universe, but on the other hand this beautiful Jewel of a world would be a really nice R & R stop off for the weary space traveler who would be more than willing to trade a few of their trinkets for a rest of a few thousand years...:)
