I think nWo was the best, for 3 years the WCW was at war with them. The reason they lasted so long was the leader, Hollywood Hogan. No name in wrestling has ever been bigger. If someone like Diamond Dallis Page or Lex Luger tried to run the show it would have easily been destroyed. The NWO needs 3 things to exist: a band of faithful followers, Scott Hall and/or Kevin Nash, and a legend to lead it: Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, The Rock; these are the biggest names to ever come out of wrestling. None of these guys were a part of it when it started in the WWF (Except Hogan, who quickly left the group), which is why it never lasted. Twice it died in WCW because Hogan and Hart came down with an injury and nobody was left to lead the group. But they had over 15 members at one point and took WCW by storm.
DX and Evolution were both good groups as well, but they were factions, never did either threaten the existance of the company.
