It depends on what you're asking. You haven't really asked anything so it's impossible to give an answer with any meaning.
For example, I prefer a Republic over a Monarchy, so I'll go with the idea of States over the idea of a Kingdom.
There are so many ways to compare the two names and the two countries.

Can I just say, I hate all this stereotyping.
Us Brits do not wear bowler hats and we don't all have buck teeth.
