This just started and when I got home I turned the car off and now I cant turn if on again. Could this be my Alternator? Where could I get a rebuilt one if needed. Live in Etobicoke, Ont.
Thx,
M.

The battery light means that you have a problem with the alternator charging the battery. Common fix is to replace the alternator. Have your old one checked first. Advance Auto and Autozone does this service for free. A reputable auto parts store may be able to do the same. but be sure that is the problem before buying a replacement which I am sure that is what your problem is.

It could be the alternator or the battery. You can get them at any auto parts store or your local Studebaker dealer. Sorry, I seem to have misplaced my Etobicoke yellow pages book, you'll have to look it up yourself.

you need a new battery or just take it to the place you got it or a mechanic place near you and ask them but most likely you need a new battery
