You can"t help the rain. People accept that. So, it would not be rude. If you carried it to the mailbox under your coat it wouldn"t get wet in the first place. Second question-- No, not rude either. Just scotch tape around the edge and address and stamp the back . You"d still have to pay the price for a first class envelope. But if you are short an envelope you could make one out of any rectangle of paper bag or gift-wrap!

you can't send a card without an envelope. and if the envelope does get wet, then there is nothing you can do about it. it's raining. not much you had to do with the weather.

You could write a joke in the card, concerning the wetness of it, thereby redirecting the reader's attention from the wet envelope to the fact that you're funny =]
"I'm sorry: it stopped raining before I could wet the card too, hope you don't mind =P"

Yes it would be rude. The card is most likely ruined and it seems like you took no time. It costs 2 cents to buy a new envolope. Deffinetly dont send a card without an envolope. If the card is to wet than the post office wont take it anyway.
Sorry to burst your bubble hun.

Honestly, could you not wait for the envelope to dry as it will and if you did throw it out it would look exceedingly tacky to try to address the back of the card with all of the printing that is on the back of it at the top, in the middle (as in the company name of who printed it as in Hallmark) and then at the bottom with the barcode and price.
remember: patience IS a virtue.

no, as long as you tell them what happened.
i'm pretty sure the person will understand, if not....then that person is stubborn & short tempered.
i'm a person who likes an envelope with a card in it though.
also, atleast you even cared enough to ask a question about this & caring is giving also.
btw, you can buy another envelope! you sillly goose =)
you're a kind person, bye!
and.....hope for the best~

Assuming which you reside which contain your spouse a latest, no longer a card, is optimal, particularly rings no cooking kit. If the separation in touch a restraining order, you ought to not deliver your ex something. Your question seems to be approximately your new spouse being exceeded over. a funky present and a smooch and he or she would be able to be puddy on your hands. All relationships initiate with some attraction with the different, conserving stable family which contain your ex is a credit to you.

Nice try, but it part of that wouldn't work.
The wet envelope would dry out.
The card would need a address,
stamp, and return address on the front,
or the back of it.
That could be done, but it wouldn't
look very neat.
