This is a movie called "The Message", which I found to be very good. I showed it to my "Comparative Cultures" high school class and they enjoyed it a lot. I heard a lot of comments about how it was like "The Ten Commandments" or "Ben Hur", and presented a religious history in an exciting way. It's interesting how you never see the character of Mohammed, because it's not correct to show a physical representation of him. The camera shoots from his viewpoint, or shows his shadow while he is off-screen. I heard that an identical movie was made for the Arab audience with well-known Arab stars.

There's a book by Karen Armstrong titled The Prophet.
It's a biography of Mohammed, and it's a good one.

I find one book that looks interesting at the above link... It's called "The Days of Mohammed: A Biography" by Anna May Wilson. The 'new' price is $11.66, the 'new and used' price is 'from $8.92.' There are 27 books in the new and used section.
