A CIA linked plane (N987SA), previously used to bring 'terrorist' suspects to Gitmo, crashed in Mexico in September. 5 tonnes of cocaine was found in the wreckage - the plane was enroute to the US. What is the CIA really doing in the 'war on terror'?

Wow. Didn't know about that. The war on terror is a joke, as is the war on drugs. The CIA smuggling cocaine into the US...imagine that. They were probably trying to take it back to their buddies, the DEA. The feds are notorious for setting up "sales" to unsuspecting folks, then once they (the feds) have actually transferred the product to Joe Citizen, and accept his cash as payment, they turn around and arrest Joe Citizen for "conspiracy to possess". Happened to a friend of mine. He served 8 years for buying cocaine from the DEA.

Doesn't surprise me at all if they want to get part of the pie think about it you buy it for $2,000 a kg in Colombia one way or another get it here to the U.S.for around another $6,000 and then sell it for a whole sale price of $18,000 in east coast that adds up so in that plane you had 5,000 kgs. to get them to the U.S. it would cost $40,000,000 million and to sell them you would get $90,000,000 million and to top it off they do this once a month at least so it would sound tempting to ANYONE even your own government

If the CIA has to smuggle drugs or other contraband in order to achieve national security objectives, then so be it. They are risking their lives and their family's lives in order to protect the freedom and security of this nation. We are at war. And they are our silent warriors.

Google: "Iran-Contra" and read on that. That's one example of CIA's extra-legal activities in order to achieve national security objectives. Sometimes you must choose between the better of two evils.
