14 Days before Christmas, and down 14 days after Christmas.

Most of them are up. We put a lot of them up since shortly after Thanksgiving, and yesterday we put the tree up. There's already a bunch of presents under it!

I still have a few more boxes of decorations in the garage to go through, and will probably be putting up more decorations this week. We had a drunk driver miss a corner and come crashing across our lawn into our garage last summer, and the company that fixed it didn't do a good job of getting all the Christmas decorations back in the right places, so they're pretty mixed up and I'm having a hard time finding everything.

I'm "building" my tree today, then I put on all the electric lights. My grandaughter usually puts on the rest of the decorations. When it is finished, it looks as good as a real tree complete with real pinecones. The only thing that I miss is the nice pine smell. Maybe I'll try to find something subtle this year as I'm allergic to sprays and refuse to use candles.

personal in my room not yet but the retirement village where I live is loaded. kind of nice to get away to my room where there is none up -- yet. might place my fiber optic tree up in a few days along with a few other things but will want to spend less than 30 minutes decorating. the more one puts up the more one has to take down.

Nope.

My daughter's boyfriend (they have been together for five years, and we all live together in my multigenerational home) has been agitating to have the tree up since December 1st. I told him he was crazy.

Yesterday, when my oldest grandson helped me with my Christmas shopping, he asked if we can put up the tree today -- "since we now have enough presents to put under it". I told him I would think about it.

I guess I just might be giving in to that request, once the boyfriend leaves for work...heaven FORBID that he should think I'm doing it for HIM!!

My husband put ours up the day after Thanksgiving.

He usually takes them down the day after Christmas.

Nope, not going to put them up as there isn't going to be any one here to see them anyway. I live alone anyway except for the 5 baby kittens that I have in here, they would tear them down as fast as I could put them up. The kittens are going outside as soon as they get old enough.
