How do you become the president?
Exactly what would someone have to do to become president? I mean what forms would they have to sign, who would they have to talk to, and I do not mean anything about the party system. I want to know how a person would go about running for president as their own party. Within the system we have, what LEGALY do you have to do to become president and appear ona ballot? I mean what forms do people have to fill out and the such?

Each STATE has there own rules. It is actually possible to be on the ballot in some states and not in others. Most states require submitting a petition with signatures from REGISTERED VOTERS representing a certain percentage of those who voted in the last Presidential election.
