basically the best remedy for drunkenness is cold water. drink lots of water so that the concentrated alcohol solution in your stomach is diluted.

this is the priniciple but it really does work.

The best remedy - wake up, drink a Resolve Extra (dehydration salts and paracetamol) followed by 2 pints of water.

Then have a monkey bath (A really hot bath that makes you sound like a chimp as you're lowering yourself in) - it'll make you sweat a lot of the booze out and help to rehydrate too.

Then get some clothes on - preferably a hoody for added comfort, go to the local pub - drink a bloody mary or two, and then head off to a greasy spoon for a big fat greasy full english breakfast.

Then go back to the pub, and start drinking again.

And repeat.

I don't drink till I drop so hangovers aren't a problem for me, but if I ever drink too much and feel like crap the next day, then I've found that a big bowel of shrimp soup/tomato base with onions, cilantro, lemon and hot sauce really makes you sweat and cures the hangover feeling. Also drink a beer right along with it.

Drinking water. The reason your head hurts during a hangover is dehydration, our brain actually shrinks some during a hang over due to dehydration. So drink WATER

and eat bananas before you go to bed, when drunk your body loses potassium.

also when you wake like at 4-5 am and its still not time to get up. pop a multi vitamin and go back to bed.

I don't drink much anymore but I did when I was in my 20's, and the cure for me was just to sleep all day. Sometimes that "hair of the dog" remedy helped. Such as drink a beer with tomato juice and other horrible stuff in it, it makes you vomit but that actually is a good thing, gets the alcohol out of your system quicker.

Don't drink on an empty stomach. Don't mix different kinds of drinks during the evening. Keep your fluid level up. Take an alkaseltzer tablet sooner rather than later.

There is a before-hand pill available, but I forget the name.

Most hangover symptoms are the result of dehydration - drink lots of water.

sleep and a lot of it.
also, bacon and egg mcmuffins, with a hash brown in the middle, and a coffee do the trick well.
