I feel towards someone contradicting emotions: I both despise him for something he did, and want to give him a second chance. I feel a sort of sense of sadness when I think of the "what ifs," and part of me wants to be his friend still, though I don´t know that I can trust him again. I feel bitter too, I think. And I have moments where I really just hate him. I don´t know the word for all these feelings. I was thinking antagonistic or animosity... But I am not sure. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Please and thank you.

Also, I do not do anything about these feelings - they are all silent, internal only. They make me do strange things though, nothing bad. but still not quite like me.

Under the circumstances you have described it would be appropriate to say you have 'mixed' feelings.
Ambivalence and equivocacy means that (in one word).
Other words for this are confusion, uncertainty, unsureness, tentativeness, haze, muddle, iffiness, hesitancy, vacillation, fluctuation, irresolution.

Ambivalent is the word when you have mixed feelings and aren't sure one way or the other.
