You can do simple things:

1. Do not pollute the waters and the air. Refrain from using plastic bags.
2. Plant a tree. better yet, plant several trees, and organize your friends to do the same. If there is no space, plant something in claypots. In any case, plant something.
3. Dispose off toxic materials properly. Like old cell phones and batteries, car batteries, etc. Influence your parents, siblings, relatives and friends to do the same.
