I've parked two blocks away because the only open spaces were on the wrong side of the street the night before that side was to be street cleaned and I knew I'd never wake up at 8 am to move my car to avoid the $50 ticket. That's just life in SoCal.

I've never let myself get into enough debt to, for whatever reasons, fear retribution if I were to park too near my home.

Somehow, I'm pretty sure, that if someone were to want me to pay them money I owed them badly enough I do think they'd not care where my car was parked. If, of course, they were law abiding citizens they'd follow legal procedures which would be unaffected by the parking of my car. If they weren't so law abiding I'd think where I parked would be the very least of my worries and, really, not a very effective means to deter my lenders.

I park on my side of my garage (my wife has claimed the other side). I don't owe any money other than that on my real estate investments, and those payments are quite current. Just how DID you get into a situation where you are so afraid of being found by your creditors ?
