AS much as there is good, there is also bad in this world. When a lot of us, tries to love and share out love and happiness with others, there are other people out there how spread bad things. See a lot of us understand that happiness comes from sharing and spreading love, but it is sad to see that there are actually people in this world who seek happiness in another persons downfalls. They are happy when the see other people cry. Many a times, we are selfish with the amount of love we give out. We just love selected people and ignore or just don't see other people. Well.. its part of human nature, but i think that is pathetic to justify such a bad behavior by saying that it is how we human are. But it is a sad reality. People don't realize the importance of love. We all are too busy labeling others. We are too busy to discriminate others based on the differences, instead of " understanding the similarities and celebrating the differences."
Gentleman, i think very few good hearted people like u understand the importance of loving and sharing with others. Many people don't. If u look around in this world, all u see is hatred and fighting. It is good to see some very sweet people around in this world.
I admire people like mother Teresa with all my life, because it takes effort to love and take care of people even when the world around discover new reasons to hate and insult each other !!

First of all, i agree with you, none of the 8 things above won`t give you happiness. Only love and sacrifice as an act of love can give you happiness.
It is very hard to beat jealousy, but once you feel you`re not jealous anymore it is a great feeling. The same is with competition, it is in our nature wanting to be the best to show we`re worthy, but it usually goes beyond that, it usually turns into walking over other peoples heads just to be the best.
As for money, it is a part of todays culture and those who have money have most friends(not real friends), so any insecure man wants a fortune. Money is important, but it is not the most important thing in life.
My bottom line is that people hate and are unable to love just because they have never been loved by their families. They were given toys instead of kind words.
I was raised mostly by my grandparents and I still remember my childhood everyday and I think that all the love they gave me made me a person I am now. Had I grown up with my parents who think that my only need is money, I would probably have become like them.
So, why do people hate? In my opinion, because they have never been shown love or how to love.

de@r gENtLe m@n,
We people ourselves are responsible for the hatred created in this world. Later we, ourselves blame the whole world.
There is so much hatred in the world because people just always want to compete and compete in life. They have a thinking that why he/she is successful, so they become jealous.
Why he/she is famous, they become irritated and again jealous. They try to show off so that people should come to know that ...ooooo, they are also not less.
But while they are doing show-off, they forget that how cheap and bad they look. Mostly the whole world wants to run after power and money. And for gaining those 2 things, people are even ready to kill their beloved ones.
But a person should atleast maintain this much descency that he/she gets respect from others. Everything is hopeless and useless if you dont have respect. Poeple go after money, power, pride, show-off, jealousy and much more, but after running after all these things, they lose their respect.
And if once respect and dignity is lost, then evreything is lost. Again i would like to quote a famous saying,
" IT TAKES YEARS TO BUILD RESPECT AND HONOR, BUT IT TAKES ONLY A FEW SECONDS TO RUIN THEM..."
Hope everyone understands the deeper meaning of the quote and hope that everyone instead of spreading hatred, spread love so that the world becomes a better place to live in....tc...sweet dreamz...bye...

Because if that is the best thing in life....
Then the worst thing is the opposite... which is being unloved... unrequited love... your love, loving another...
It happens alot, unfortunately.... So I think alot of hatred actually stems from loving something too much, wether it be a person, an idea or a belief...
People have stood up for what they love since the beginning of time, and this causes hatred....
The two most powerfull of emotions, stem from one antother... It is sad but true... This is the way it goes.

Perhaps there are two opposite forces working together in nature. Jesus was born to love and also to preach mankind the doctrine of love. As a result, He became the worst victim of hatred. Of course, love has prime importance for mankind, for which He is still remembered and worshipped by millions of people till today.
I like to mention that love for the creation of God is divine, where as love for temporary pleasure, if desired to satisfy our instinctive tendencies may cause love to begets hatreds.
Hence, love may be termed as "Lost of valuable Energy." So, let us not desire love or hatred either. It is better to find ourselves in our true Divine nature.

Sometimes, love is hard to obtain. It's just life. There are people who will not be loved in return by the one they love and this can cause so much unhappiness...
Yes, your theory is correct, unfortunately, as Shakespeare put it, and I don't think these are the actual words, but just quoting from my memory: 'the course of love never did run smooth'.
Love,

I wonder if people can understand what you are saying. It's because flower of love has lost the fragrance of sacrifice, adjustments, tolerance and giving nature!
Greed and fear (competition, show off, to be no.1, pride, power, money etc.) have been injected by present environment (education and social system) in our Psych.
Unconditional love (compassion), sacrifice, adjustments, tolerance and giving nature have no place in the existing system.
It's unfortunate that present education system is churning out people with fixed pattern, killing their innate qualities and fragrance (sacrifice, adjustments, tolerance and giving nature).

You are right that
To be Jealous and to make others Jealous
Competition
Show off
To be no.1
To overtake someone
Pride
Power
Money
are responsible for hate. It seems like it is easier to hate than to love.

Th reason is Gentleman , people are not satisfied with whatever they have & the Consciousness wants to reach the place from where it started its journey, Inbetween it is caught in the maya of the world.
Only when it reaches the Almighty will it be fully satisfied & does not long for the wordly pleasures.

1) "Love" and "to be loved" are not expected from all to all.
2) There is something else in this world that is much more powerful than the previous two for second tiered human beings. Its 'money' and with it you are the powerd, can love and can also be loved.
