B.B.K had asked the similar question and the answer I gave was below : I think the answer I gave to BBK will be the same answer to your question.

As far as I know myself I am a person who doesn't harm or hurt other feelings. Some times I get into situation where I am ill treated or my feelings are hurt and I will get this bad thought of hurting them back or take revenge on them. But I don't do this. I will think, what will be the difference between them and me. I have learned this from childhood friend. When I was kid I used to take revenge if somebody hurts me. Then I got this friend who changed me. I have learned a lot from her to take things positive, not to hurt back etc., I am not telling I am perfect or I am saint but this is one of the goodness I have got in me. I believe in God and when I try to do something bad my conscious will tell me that if I do bad GOD will punish me and I will just let it go. If I don't like a person or people who hurts me I just ignore them and eliminate them from life.

Goodness, as beauty is also, in the eye of the beholder....

Get to know me and you will find out.... I'm sure there are people who don't agree with my way of living (perhaps hardcore Christians for example) But there are others who love the way I live my life and praise me for it....

You can only prove yourself by living every day as you, and the people around can judge you how they like.... Good or bad, it does not bother me, I am who I am and I am not changing ;)

(lol, Nobbynoidea, you are both evil and good... and naughty, all coal for you this Christmas ... hehe) xo

I am an honest, sincere person. Good or bad, depends not on what I think of my self, but what others make of me.
I don't need to prove my self to anybody.
I have to be satisfied in my heart.

"good person" is a subjective description. Most people think that they are a good person. It depends on who I am being compared. If Mother Theresa-bad person. If Charles Manson-great person. I think overall I'm OK.

Honestly I dont believe in anything absolute or in compartmentalizations either! I'm real with my good intentions and grey shades. I try to feed the good dog in me but at times the bad dog snatches away the bone too. Thats what you can say is my lapse of judgement, it does happen at times... :(

Wha is a good person? If you are satisfied with you that you have not done anything wrong, you are good. So long as you dont inconvenience others even if you dont help them, that is good. Whom should we prove that we are good,?

You're assuming that I claim to be a good person. I never said such a thing.

When morality is a matter of opinion (which it is by the way), nobody can claim to be either good or evil.

I think the best indication that someone is a good person is that they worry they might not be. Cuz a genuinely "not good" person wouldn't even be concerned.
