Computer Graphics covers a lot of territory.
If you are simply trying to learn a program like Adobe's Photoshop CS or Illustrator, or one of there many softwares many computer stores offer classes as well as Junior Colleges.
If however you are going to college to major in Computer Science they may or maynot offer the specific courses on the use of design software, it depends on the school and the proffesor teaching it.
Adobe also offers courses on there software at different locations, check there site for details.
A look at your college's Cateloge will give you a overview of what is offered in there courses.

I can tell you from personal experience. I thought I wanted to do graphic arts, for games and what not. But after taking art classes for a year, it was driving me nuts. All that drawing was a ridiculous amount of work, and in the eyes of my teachers, it was never perfect.

I ended up switching to computer science. It has nothing to do with the art aspect. It is completely programming. Most Universities will make you go through the entire art major program so you'll be drawing pictures of fruit, painting with all sorts of paint, the whole 9 yards. I found that I love the programming side of it :) Some schools do specialize though and focus on both the art and programming aspects.
