Happiness is a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
Relax, cool and stop thinking. Happiness is at your doorstep. Invite and make it sit on your lap.

When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him; and you are torn by the thought of the unhappiness and night you cast, by the mere fact of living, in the hearts you encounter.

de@r gEntLe m@n,
Happiness for me is something which is unlimited and which is in abundance.
I define happiness in a little unique way. For me happiness is something which is always there for you. Which is always present for. Which is always near you. Which always sorrounds you. But the thing is, YOU NEED TO REALIZE THAT THING AND INVITE HAPPINESS.
Happiness is such a blessing with which everyone is blessed. But people don't realize that thing. They always surround themselves with unhappiness and problems and then later blame it on god and to their destiny that happiness never comes their way.
But actually the thing is happiness is waiting for their invitation. Happiness is present there but it wants that special invitation from us humans.
We are so much busy and involved in making and creating problems and then later solving them that we merely forget about happiness.
But i think we all should bear in mind that happiness is such a thing which everyone has and with which everyone is blessed. But the thing is you should realize it first and then moreover VALUE it....then only you will become a happy person and even a successful person.... :)....tc....sweet dreamz...bye....

I am happy when I am in a moment i.e. present. As we move along the path of life, we start living in the virtual World i.e. past and/or future. Where as a child is always in the moment and gets happy even with small things, which might be meaningless to us.
Happiness is an environment created by what you like, which varies from person to person and time to time. What you like as a kid, may not make any sense to you when you are young.
Question is - can we be happy without any reason?

Happiness is a state of mind where you are free of any sorrows & feel free to do whatever you wish. No conditioning, & it's just the opposite of sadness.Only a person who has suffered will know what is happiness.
It's like resting in the shade after a long walk in the sun.

For me happiness would be to find the love of my life and have children and see them become kind and good people.
When I think of future I like to imagine myself and my family in a country house, far from the polution and evil of big cities. I would like to have a happy marriage and never divorce, this is one of my biggest wishes as my parents divorced and still can`t stand eachother after all these years.
So, a successful marriage and a happy family are my idea of happiness.

Gentleman, hai!!
Just like love, happiness is undefinable! It can only be shown with your feelings and beavings. It can only be felt! It can only be experienced. It is like a feeling of being loved, accepted, valued, given dignity, given respect, shown kindness towards, everything as such. Everything means all you can think of that makes you happy! It is undefinable! I am happy right now because i have made happy a person who I love very much! I am delighted when everyone around me are happy especially when it is because of me! I know that you know who I made happy today! You! All these things are happiness to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure it is the same with you!

Happiness to me is being content and completely accepting everything I can't change. This acceptance includes, but is not limited to, death. If I could honestly accept that I'm going to die and somehow be okay with any pain that's going to accompany it, I would be happy. Life would have a lightheartedness to it if I could truly accept death.

Happiness to me is an inner calm, an inner joy, an inner contentment that allows me to appreciate and value all that is right in my life and gives me the strength to handle the rest.

I define happiness as ... a seed that God had planted in our heart, and we have to learn during the whole life to make it grow and flourish in a splendid flower, by learning to love each other.

happiness is when there's not a trace of sadness that you feel. you're at complete bliss. for example, when you're on vacation at whatever dream spot, you still feel a tint of sadness no matter how relaxing it is. but happiness is completely free from sorrow.
