There are vaginal deodorant sprays you can buy at the chemist, It's just like any area where the air can't get to it -it causes bacteria to grow and that causes odour. don't be embarrased buying them, it is very common.

For a start do not I repeat do not use soap, lotion, or anything else up or in your vagina. This takes away the natural cleaning abilities of this area. If it is washed too clean the body tries and fix it by excess fluid which becomes smelly. That part of your body has a normal odour.. I hope your not confusing it with a bad odour which lots of people have in the past done. My biggest hint to you that a Gyn/ Ob told me is to use hair conditioner around the outer area... not inside... the conditioner is at the same PH as your body and promotes the NORMAL bacterial fauna that should be found in these areas. So please dont use soap of any kind. Good luck your problem seems to be that you are too clean.... just use warm water... give it ago...and im being totally serious.. I am a nurse in australia.

Hormone imbalances can also sometimes cause a smell in that area but the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

confident, its his hormones.. they are surging at this age.. regrettably the armpits are one consequence of this.. possibly trimming the hair in that section and utilising powders and such and confident contacting a dermatologist could help.. there could be a prescription cream to shrink the bacterial develop that prospers throughout those years.. ... he will strengthen out of it.. yet sorry which you will go through the scent interior the recommend time.. only be happy that he has regularly occurring male hormones and all is working like it exact could desire to..

If you have excessive thick hair there, odor will cling to it. Try a little trim maybe. And I agree, get checked by your gyno just in case.
And guys, if you don't want to hear about gross women's issues, get off the Women's Health page.

I would skip the lotion. I think we are naturally hydrated in the nether regions. Get a special "personal soap" I noticed a friend of mine uses one by I think it's Massengil? Keep yourself really dry and before intimacy maybe a touch of perfume? Good luck!

It could possibly be your diet. Try laying off meats for a while and see if it smells any different.
