611/7 is the indian score right now which is very large for first innings. So shouldn't Kumble now declare to prevent a draw like previous test?
I see no logic in going to 700 or beyond -- that will only consume time.

in clarification of first answerer. Ganguly has completed his innings with a magnificient 239. That is why i posted this question.
I feel they are waiting for pathan to make a century. But after Pathan making century, there is no point of continuing the innings. If they decide Pathan should go to 150 at least, then that may lead to draw.

the indians arent looking at 700 or so .Just the thing that they are thinking is pathan's century which is 7 runs short. and they shud think that if they attak next 30 mins that means that 640 or so. SO that it can help us to bat fer the second time and get more chances of winning thats the theory
