Well, I am going to have to say Colt Brennan will be a better NFL quarterback. I am not saying this because every, and I mean "every" UF quarterback including Steve Spurrier, Kerwin Bell, Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerffel, Jesse Palmer, Rex Grossman and Chris Leak, completely...sucked when transitioning to the NFL. History doesn't lie.

Now, for more reasonable resources to support my decision we have only to look at the last two years where Colt amassed about 90+ TDs, had a 186 QB rating last year and leading the team from the WAC with a win over ASU in a bowl game, who received way more props at the beginning of this year than Hawaii, by the way. He can throw every route and he has uncanny accuracy, long or short.

Tebow, though having a great year, hasn't spread the ball around and his plunges into the end zone are overrated. How many were inside the five? Trade most of those for TD passes and I would've had more respect. Thank goodness he didn't have LL Cool J at RB or he would've been pissed!

Brennan missed two games and still has 38 TD passes, which would've probably been 48. Tebow will be a good player at a different position, or just fizzle out like every other UF QB. Okay...okay. So what if I am a Bears fan who has had the nfortunate pleasure of seeing four UF QBs in Bear uniforms. I may be a little bitter. Just a little, but my argument is sound and slightly objective.

It's too early to tell, Tebow has a lot of time to develop still but he has obvious talent and would benefit from pocket passing. Brennan should do fairly well in the NFL. It's also hard to say. Remember how highly touted Brady Quinn was before they got murdered by LSU in a bowl game? Brennan plays in a weak conference and against lower tier athletes, we will have to see how he performs against a very good defense in the Sugar Bowl to see what the pro scouts are thinking. He makes good decisions and throws as well, so personally I would say he will be a better NFL talent.

Brennan will be a top five pick when he comes out and will probably be a decent NFL QB for a decade or so. And unless an NFL team decides to take a step 50 years back and start running the option, Tebow will be WR on somebody's practice squad, see Eric Crouch.

If either of them become good QBs in the NFL, it will be Brennan. Tebow isn't much of a passer, Brennan is a very good passer.

There is a question that remains to be answered:

Was Brennan was successful because of the pass-happy offense at Hawaii, or was Hawaii successful because of Brennan's talent?

Tebow will have two more years in college to develop, don't forget. As for Brennan, he could do well in a team that has a pass-happy offense, but the D that he will face in the NFL will be on a different planet when compared to the WAC...

Tebow threw for 29 TD's!!!!.... good for him. Brennan threw for 38 this year and 58 last year. you cant argue with those gaudy numbers. Colt has set practicaly every NCAA passing record and is a more prototypical pro caliber QB. Tebow doesnt have a great throwing arm, even with two great receivers in Andre Caldwell and Percy Harvin he only managed to throw 5 and 7 TD's respectively to each one. Colt will have a better Pro career and could be a starter as early as his third season.

As and NFL QB? It's Brennan hands down. Tebow will be a great NFL TE/FB some day, but not an NFL QB.

Both have great futures ahead of them in the NFL....but I think that Brennan will be the one to shine for the long haul! Maybe the Bears will get wise, draft him and finally have a QB that can win on a consistent basis!!
