Take some ibuprofen(motrin, advil). A warm bath or a heating pad should help relax the muscles. You may even try midol, sometimes that helps better because it also stops bloating.

You can try a heating pad or hot water bottle or even warm baths. Another thing you can do is to increase the level of iron during that time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course).

If these cramps are so bad that you are not able to function I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

Take ibuprofen (They have special Advil for cramps)
Believe it or not, doing excercise REALLY helps. Sit-ups helps the muscles there relax.
Personally, eating helps me !
And I've heard taking a hot bath helps, but the idea scares me. Hot showers on the other hand are better, at least in my opinion.
If you can, take the day of (depends on how bad the pain is...)
and sleep in =)
Hope they aren't too bad. I HATE cramps =(

The hot water bottle helps somewhat, but you can also eat parsley, or make yourself a parsley tea and drink it, it will help!
