Each city has their own police department. It's hard to judge and say that all U.S. police are racist. There are policeman of every race. So, you can hardly say that they all are.

Having said that, there are some police departments in the U.S., certain cities, that do seem to have more bias against certain races. I'd say that racial profiling is an issue in some departments.

Some what. I've noticed that when ever they see an African walking around on the city streets that they start getting suspicious. They don't usually do that if it's any other race. Weird, but it could be a sign of small racism.

Is it really racist to look a little harder at a segment of society responsible for most violent crime or is it smart policing?
