Lie through your teeth. Jocks have no pity for those they consider weaklings or "gay". Sad but true, there are a lot of idiots in this world and you got to protect yourself against that kind of bashing. You are in college and you got better things to worry about.
Again, there is nothing wrong being a virgin. Just keep it to yourself or to those you absolutely trust (usually, you can count these people on one hand, but only after 20 or 30 years of true friendship). Yeah, true, if these friends are real friends, they would not give a damn. But at 19, you can bet that these "college friends" would all turn their back at you and mock you if they find out. Trust me, adults will tell you not to worry, but kids and teens have no pity when it comes to their peers and will do anything to make someone's life miserable.

Why do these mates feel the need to discuss their sex lives with you and one another? It so cheapens the whole thing. I remained a virgin till I was married, and never felt ashamed of that at all - it was a conscious choice, there were plenty of opportunities, I'm well aware, but I was a little more discerning. Don't make things up to impress them - that would be wrong on so many levels. If a girl who really liked you, even months down the track, was to hear back of these imagined conquests, it may be just the thing to put her off. You really need to be more confident and self-assured; if you spend your life trying to align yourself with someone else's values and experiences, you won't be true to your self and the life that's meant for you. Being a virgin doesn't make you a loser, in fact on the contrary I think it's quite something in this day and age of meaningless sex. Sex is so wonderful and special. You've made it to 19, unlike so many who fumble around pathetically at 15 and 16 (or even younger). Let your first time be all that it can be - with someone you are committed to, and who has committed to you. You don't need a long list of lovers to be a good lover. The sexual experiences you explore with that one special person will bring you such fulfillment. These friends of yours will never have that depth of loving passion. You need new friends. All the best.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A VIRGIN.
Sex is NOT such a big deal. Really, it isn't.
Having sex does not make you cool.
If they ask, ask them why they're so concerned about you making yourself feel all nice and tingly with some other person. "Boohoo, I have never used someone else's body to make myself feel good." Seems pretty dumb when you think about it that way, doesn't it?
Besides, why would they assume the fact that you've never had sex or kissed a girl means you're gay? Do you think gay people don't have sex? You think that because you haven't kissed any girls, that means you MUST have been kissing guys instead? There isn't any reason to lie to them - there is no point.

if you were a girl ... this would have been so much easier ....it is a hard thing to deal wit around a guy crew.... As with all guy groups that is a number one topic.... but i guess my opinion on that is... grow some balls, tell em how it is, you might get made fun of for the first 2 weeks but it will pass over.. trust me.... ever seen "40 year old virgin"? if you have i am sure you would remember "they feel like sand bags".. its better to tell it how it is then to keep on covering it up.... wat you gonna say wen they ask "who?".. you will be in a much worse position wen they figure it out and confront you about it. If they your "boys" that will be you boys even if you were to be gay.. if not get some new one's... you are who you are... 98% of them will be gone after college anyhow. Bottom line is... dont make stuff up, it will be looked upon as u being a lier about everything in a group of guys.

If they are the type of people who will think your a loser and not hang out with you because of this then they are NOT the type of people you need to be friends with in the first place.
Never lie, but there is no reason to tell them even if they do ask. People need to learn to mind their own silly business.

So you're 19 and a virgin, who cares. Everybody's different, just because you're not out there having animal sex and hurting girls feelings doesn't mean you're not a cool person. I wish you were my boyfriend, we could be a virgin together. :)
They'll most likely tease you about it and you'll just be their virgin buddy everytime they introduce you to someone, it'll be like, a joke.

If you need to lie in order to keep your friends, are they really friends? Anyway, maybe your honesty would help one of them. How do you know one is not a virgin and also too shy to say so?

How about you just not talk about it - it sounds like you're just planning to one day just say something about it. I wouldn't say anything unless I was asked. If I was asked I'd say "my private life is not up for discussion"
