Baseball. No clock. Each pitch brings tension. It's a team sport, but every batter has his turn in the spotlight to perform. A ball can be hit precisely but right at someone. Another pitch can be hit poorly but somehow find its way to being a basehit. And sometimes, like on October 5th, when Manny Ramirez hit a home run in the bottom of the 9th inning with two out, it is just gloriously cathartic.
It has been called the sport that is most like life.
Football (American) because it is most like war. The quarterback drives the offense, each player having his own specialty and assignment. The defense must react instantly to each feignt and threat. It often comes down to speed and hitting and sacrificing one's own body for the team.

Football or soccer is the best sports in the world. This sport gives movements/exercises to all over the body, including the head.

Horseback riding...to be more specific, extreme eventing!!
Dressage: testing the communication between horse and rider, requiring total willingness of the horse to respond to the rider. An elegant and delicate aspect of horsmanship
Cross Country: Jumping solid obstacles on uneven terrain with the possibility of a tough fall always make it so exciting! And the horses are well known to prefer it! Plus you get to get dirty!
Showjumping: A test of how fast and clear a course can be done, racing against every second on the clock, and having to plan the fastest/safest/original route possible! It takes brains, skill, and luck!
Overall, a horse and rider having to work together and fully trust/cooperate with one another. The rider can't do it alone. Unlike other sports, the partners cannot speak to eachother, they must trust eachother and accept one another's signals. The rider has to know the horse's habits, body language, limits, and has to treat the horse correctly or it will not accept the rider. The rider also has to make clear signs and must stay exactly with the horse's movement so as not to interfere. How much better can it get?

My favorite sport in the world is horseback riding. It's the best because it's fun, your partner doesn't speak english which makes it challenging, it makes muscles and it's one of the only sports that has men and women competing together and they all have the same chance of winning.
