Ok im 39 weeks pregnant and a few days ago i got this pinched nerve pain in my lower back and butt. Today my eyes wouldnt stop watering and my legs and ankels are so swollen, all i want to do is clean but dont have the energy to do so. Could i possibly be fixing to go into labor?? Im so ready my body just feels wore out. Is there anything i can do besides drink castor oil (because i heard it doesnt work and is ready nasty) or sex because that isnt working either. I know i can walk but its hard when that nerve in my butt/back hurts so bad.

Don't do the castor oil... I am in the same boat you are in, I have a pinched nerve due to having to sleep on my side and my back is killing me too. I have been going from a really warm bathand then I have been bending over to lay my head on the bed and mkaking my husband rub my back and butt, I have also been putting a heating pad to help alittle. The deal with sex is you have to have an orgasm along with the sperm to get the contractions going. I don't know about you but I have been in too much pain to enjoy myself and have an orgasm. I called my Doctor yesterday because the pain is so bad it makes me really sick and he told me to wait til thursday which is my due date. You might call your doc. Good Luck!!

Nesting is that urge to clean and prepare for baby. I know quite a few women who literally rearranged their houses the day before going into labor! As for the pain, I'm with ya! My back and hips are leaving me in agony! I have been this way for weeks. I just keep taking Tylenol and hoping that baby comes soon!
I'd call the doctor if this pain is so extreme that it keeps you from walking around. maybe they will want you to go get checked in Labor and delivery or maybe they can prescribe something stronger than Tylenol to get you through it.

you need to speak with if not see your doctor ASAP.

there is a possibility that you are in labor.

there is also a possibility that you have herniated a disk that presses on the sciatic nerve which causes leg pain.

Sounds aweful. I would at least ring the Dr and see what they think. Or go to the hospital.
