As with any other profession, some are trustworthy and others are not. Some I mistrust only slightly and others I would not trust out of my line of sight. Yet others I would trust with full confidence. It all depends on the agent and how they operate their business and their ethics.

And yes, I am one of those Realtors.

Realtors are like any other people - some are trustworthy and some are not.

The current real estate climate may help to weed out many of the less professional realtors and let the "cream" rise to the top.

It depends. Always check references. If someone you know & trust recommends a realtor to you, go with it. If your house isn't selling, ask your realtor what you can do to inexpensively make it more attractive. And watch 'Sell House' on A&E to get ideas; I love that show!

No. Their only priority is to make money and be liked by other realtors.

You have to realize that their priority is to make a sale and collect a commission. They are not looking out for your best interest, only their own. This is fine, but just realize they are not your best friend and get advice elsewhere.

I'm a good one who's been around long enough to know that you can't trust them all.
