What a Question!? Wow.....('o') 10 million years ago, I think there were no humans and not a single thing probaly thought about the existance of this world we live in today. 10 million years from now, there won't be humans. Humans will wipe out their own population. Even is we don't get wiped out, we will evolve into a different creature. With all this awesome technology we have right now, we will probaly have met with intelligient extraterrestial beings who we make relations with. We will be all over the universe and extraterrestial beings will be sharing the earth with us. We will deeply understand everything that exists. The universe will seem like a vast ocean to us. Planets and stars being islands as we travel inter-galacticly. We will also become intellegient and only a little of today will remain the same tommorow. But who knows what will happen in 10 million years? The creatures who existed 10 million years ago didn't even think that we existed! If we were to travel through time to the year 10,002,008 AD, I can clearly state that little will be the same. However, If extraterrestial beings never existed and if we wiped ourselves out, The future will just look like planets and stars in the sea of the Universe. Here is my Final word to tell you: You can't even imagine 10 million years from now. The creatures who live 10 Million years ago can't. So cannot Us. And please help humans to not not get wiped out by themselves. Let the year 10,002,008 exist in your imagination.

Actually i wanted to ask a similar question, only that the difference is that I wanted to ask what is the vision of human life in the year 10,000...I didnt even think of such a loooooonnnnnnnggggggg timespan like yours...

10 million years is a freaakinng loooonnnggg time, by then the human race might cease to exist already, or we may have evolved to become other creatures...I mean its totally unimaginable what will happen few thousand years from now, much less 10 MILIION YEARS!!! I mean a few thousand years ago when people are living in huts, being farmers and living with simple technology they couldnt imagine that we will have the internet, handphones, computers, cars and space shuttles...

likewise in AD 10 000 000...technologically wised, we will be so unimaginably advanced that we have reached to the point where there could be no suffering, we may even be immortals who knows? This is my exciting and scary vision…

We might have reprogrammed ourselves to replenish our bodies with nanobots to repair cells to keep ourselves in perpetual youth ( this possibilty is already talked about now )...there will be the cure for all diseases and sufferings there will be no disease whatsoever, crime ceases to exist because there’s no reason to be sin at all when everything is perfect, people will just be having fun, socializing party everyday, surfing the galaxies, visiting the planets and learning new things… we are so highly advanced and served by robots that are so advanced themselves that they are organisms themselves. The world will be something like a paradise. We will be living in many other planets having terra-formed them and changed the atmosphere to be able to support living organism. The world will be beautifully artificially designed with a balance of nature and technology…And our desires could be fulfilled by virtual reality machines that could do anything!!( you feel like you are living but in a reality world u cant tell any difference though ). Men then could do anything they want and live their life whatever they want like in a simulation machine…There’s no more reason to give birth in the future as we can artificially create humans the way we want( you want them to look like avril lavigne? Checked…Brad Pitt? No problem)everybody will be equal, and we might even find answers that have puzzled humans since antiquity... Questions like, do we have an afterlife? Why does life exist? All of them will be answered…We will be gods in that lifetime and spread the love of humanity…

Wow, what a question! Well, no one knows if we'll be here, but if evolution, technological advancement and changes that happen over time will be allowed to unfold without destroying ourselves, it is going to be something that is probably totatlly unimaginable to us right now. After all, did they ever imagin in 1400 AD that there would be cars, planes, skyscraper, medical brilliance, computers, even religious freedom, i mean that would blow their minds if they came forward in time and saw all this. So I figure it would blow ours if we saw all that was in the future 10 mil years from now.

Let's just see if we can get there! In the meantime, we have to awaken and start using that other 90% of our brain that is inside our skulls! Stopping the killing of eachother might be a good start. Then we could focus on other things. Here's a transcript of a youtube vid below for the possible self-destruction we're headed for and how to deal with that...

i don't think that our planet could last that long
when it terms in globalization (Green House Effect) the thick anti Sun Radiation that cover's the earth is decreasing, co'z of pollutions miss use of toxic airs,

so definitely by that times come, our future decesdant will not see the beauty of earth as what we see right now

Some other species will have evolved past us, while we were feeling guilty about global warming and animal extinctions.
We will no longer be the dominant race. We will be their pets.
