Oh sure, and what is worse is this e-mail thing! Our words are so permanent and much thought must go into them before they are made heard! The old saying of counting to ten before reacting holds wisdom with regard to mail, be it snail or electronic. We are sometimes too impulsive aren't we?

No. I've learned from mistakes of others. Never write letters or emails anything you don't want anyone to read. You might send it to the wrong address or email address and it will fall into the wrong hands. Another thing people forget, is not to say anything you don't want heard on the phone, people will sometimes put you on the speaker.

I have done this so many times and it is so easy to do now with email. Now when I feel a little bit put off I wait at least one day to think things over.

Yes, I messed up, too. I wrote a guy an e-mail 10 years ago that I enjoyed spending time with him, etc., etc. Anyhow, for him, it was "just friends". Embarrassing.
