Schneider's need a fairly warm basking area of around 90F. It's difficult to provide that in a small tank without heating up the whole tank. They need to be able to get away from the heat as well. Something like a 20 long would be a better choice, more floor space and less height which they don't need anyway.

i'm assuming you meant spider. but you were going to spell it sbider. or something. and skink was shink?? shrink maybe?? so can a spider shrink stay in a fifteen gallon tank? no. probably not. whatever your question meant. ohhhh. you meant the animal skink. and a schneider. thank you for the link guy above me. and congrats on being able to read the question.

it is a matter of a atmospheric character, not container. keep the temp., and air quality right, so as to create the atmodphere it thrives in, and it should be ok. it may not be happy, but it should survive.
edit: of course if it gets too big you have to get a bigger tank. I thought that was a given.
