I am 23 and working 2 full time jobs. I graduated from college in May this yr., but a bunch of things happened and I have been working to pay off some of my undergrad debt (credit cards, etc) while waiting to start grad. school for social work in January. I at times am depressed because since I am either literally at work or asleep, I have no time for a life. I was wondering, should I try to find someone for me right now, even though I have very little time-and be upfront/explain my situation, or should I just sit on the sidelines until January? I at times just hate my life right now and find myself counting down days on the calendar often, almost like a prison/probation sentence.

I feel your pain. I was like you when I was 23. What I found is that you don't intentionally have to try finding someone. She'll come to you sooner or later. You are very young, still 23, and working very hard. That is very manly and attractive. It would be nice if you can someone at work as you spend most of your time there. If not, keep what you're doing, and she'll eventually come to you. Believe me!

be glad you have the opportunity to get a good education. No pain , no gain. remember that. In a couple years it will be history and you'll have all the time in the world to pursue a relationship with someone.

Think about how better your life will be once you finish school and you can actually start in the field of your choice. Life takes sacrifice sometimes, but it's usually more than worth it.

Jeez, I would cut back on my hours, go out at least one evening a week, and make time for friends/romance. What if you died in a car crash next month? Could happen! Cheers!
