be in a serious relationship w/a woman that got divorced a month before you met her? Or would you want to take your time even if you really liked her & she wanted to be w/you in a relationship?

I'd give the woman plenty of space but stay in contact. She needs to heal and to think clearly. But I'd stay in contact - an occasional lunch, phone call - keeping it a friendship until she was better.

There is no reason not to take it slow. Rebound is a scary but all too real thing so he is doing you both a favor by allowing you time to adjust to the single life. He may have been hurt by a similar situation in the past and does not want to make the same mistake again. You owe it to yourself to be completely over the past relationship before committing yourself to another one. I did not and it was a painful learning experience.

If I met a man and he has just gotten a divorce I would take my time and not jump into anything.

I CAN'T BE IN SUCH RELATIONSHIP. JUST THINK ,WHEN THE VERY WOMEN FAILED TO CONTINUE HER FIRST RELATIONSHIP WITH A MAN, HOW CAN U SAY THAT SHE WILL NOT FAIL TO DELIVER IN THE 2ND ONE.
