If he was an atheist, he would still be an idiot.

If Bush were an atheist, I would not support him. If he is capable of waging a war against Iraq as a Christian, how much more if he was an atheist. He might end up igniting World War III.

P.S. I think the only good thing brought about by the war in Iraq was the ousting of tyrant Saddam Hussein. Other than that, it has been four years and no weapon of mass destruction has been unearthed.

Never did support Bush, never will. If there were an atheist with good ideas and seemed honest, I would definitely support them before I'd waste my vote on the typically corrupt politician.

Bush pandered to the fundamentalist to be elected to the presidency. Then, the supreme court actually put him in office. True or not, it's past history. This idea that he talked to God bothers me. Did God tell him to "go out & kill"? Did God tell him to award billions in no bid contracts to his business buddies? I doubt it. I doubt if he talked to God. so much for him.
Do you really want to have another person in the white house that believes as bush does. You see the dividends for America of the past 7 years. Religion has no place in our government. I believe this is a dangerous path to continue to follow. My religion is my business & God's. It's personal & it should stay that way.

Well I don't support him in the first place. But I would definitely support an atheist in power.

It doesn't matter because I DON'T. He is a self richest ***. Look at the way he gets all excited when he gives a speech about war. He looks like he will have an orgasm in his britches. I think his dad whispered in his ear on what to do on that because his dad failed at the Gulf Storm war. No matter what he did what he did because he had THE POWER to do so. His religion matters not to me, because he is a selfish fucker.

I wouldn't carry if Bush was the second coming, I still would not support him based on his record of inconsistencies, and outright playing to special interests - namely oil.

I don't completly support Bush in all his decisions, but what religion he believes in doesn't matter, it's the principle behind what he's trying to do that matters.
