Pre-med is not a degree program. It is just the name used for the set of courses required to get into medical school. You can major in anything -- but biology and chemistry are common majors.

Every major college and university offers all of the courses needed for pre-med. UT and TAMU certainly do (and would be good schools for it).

Austin college this is not any longer nicely wide-unfold outdoors of Texas. UT Austin and Texas A&M have stable courses. prepare to the two; in case you get prevalent at the two you are able to come to a decision consistent with the place you opt to stay and which college has extra attraction to you.

They both do. You major in biology and on the application there's a choice for pre-professional programs (pre-med, pre-law, pre-dental....)
