It was cool to view the harbor and skyline but we had to keep moving as it was pretty crowded.

Can't say that I have. I was in the San Jacinto Monument near Houston, though. It's taller than the Washington Monument.

Yes, space was tight - the platform in her head only holds a small number of people (much smaller than I was anticipating). Still, it was worth the wait.

Yes I have - and it was very crowded with site seeing tourists visiting NY. But the view was absolutely fantastic.

yep, i went up to the crown when i was little - before i was absolutely terrified of heights and stairs without risers. it was amazing for the ten seconds that i was up there. it was very cramped, and the floor was curved to her head. the walk up (yes, even after the elevator thru the base) was a b*tch, and it was person to person the whole way up, but i'm glad my mother made us go.
