I know what you mean. Sandra Bernhard said it best when she said that anyone will have sex with anyone (sexuality notwithstanding) given the right circumstances. While this is mostly true, especially when alcohol is thrown in the mix, people are attracted to who they are attracted to.
Myself, I am totally gay. I had sex with a girl when I was 21. It was the one and only time I had sex with a girl. It was a very re-affirming experience, though I'm not sorry it happened. While I don't think that everyone is bi, this statement doesn't account for personal capacity. I tend to think that the "everyone is bi" people are mostly wishful thinkers.

I can't stand when people say everyone's at least a little bi. I'd say it's mostly bisexuals who say this, for obvious reasons.
Just because one person feels a certain way doesn't mean everyone else in the world feels that way, or even "just a little bit" that way.
No. Period.

yeah, kinda. I think that a lot more people at least have the potential to be bi than they would ever admit, but there are definitely those who are solidly on one end of the kinsey scale as opposed to the other.

No, my eyes aren't rolled.
I believe once a sworn straight or gay person breaks the psychological barrier that seperates their belief structure (which can be strong) and their potential, they can swing either way.
Sexuality is a mental barrier.. because sex is sex, feelings are feelings. Chemistry is chemistry. To think that you are only attracted to one sex is limiting at best.
I used to think I was straight as a hat until I met women who turned me on. Not that I would go for them of course, but they were truly hot, in the smouldering, non superficial way.
p/s: to say that you're attracted to bodies (male bodies if you're gay) objectifies the person. If you're attracted to his body, then you're using him to gratify yourself. However, if you're attracted to his masculine personality or effervescent aura, that's a different thing, but then again, this means it hasn't got anything to do with his physical body, but his spirit - and spirit is genderless.

Bi.. Haha. What the hell does that mean!?!? How in the name of Boy George can you not know whether you prefer male genitalia or female genitalia?
Mind-boggling if you ask me.

I'm bisexual, I in no way think everyone is. Everyone is different. I think many (but not all) people are able to see beauty in both sexes (ex. "that girl is pretty, or that guy is handsome"), but that's a world of difference from being bisexual. Only rubes say everyone is __ (this or that).

i think not... what i think is that people who feel the need to continually bring up the sexuality card - in whatever context - are extremely insecure in their own sexuality and try to force focus on others so that their own inadequacies (imagined in their own minds) aren't seen by people around them.

to an extent. i mean anyone could have at least one another person who they are attracted to who falls out of their normal preference.
i don't think that you could just generalize all of the world as that everyday though.
