I think it will then again I think it wont. There are many reasons it will and many reasons it wont. They say it wont end but the world will go through some major changes. But then again people claim to have visions of it ending on the date of 12/21/12. Other people claim to have visions of us being saved by a greater force. People said the world would end in 2000 2001 6/6/6 but has it happended yet? O and about the Mayan calander thing I read some thing that said the Mayans were angered because even though the calander ends on that date it doesnt mean the world will end. They said it meant the world would go through changes. And no one knows the true day the world will end but God.

By the world, do you mean the human population of Earth, or the planet itself? The planet's got another 4 billion years or so until it's consumed by the red giant sun. I imagine humanity will last a while, possibly not that long. And since this 2012 nonsense is all pseudoscience anyway, I'm going to say no. Try reading a science book and put down the horoscopes.

* Some time you least expect it.

* In the Bible it says only God knows. Not even the angels in heaven know, only God.

* The Bible states that God's Great Day is Coming and there's a hurrying of it...Zephaniah. 1:14. And that it's coming as a thief in the night. But Jesus did give humans a warning sign to look for. Matthew Chapter 24. Those with eyes of faith can see. But those who choose not to see, are blinded to the signs. Zephaniah 2:3 urges all meek and humble ones to seek God while there's still yet time...

* The Mayan Calendar ends in December 2012, just around the corner. It's possible that you might live to see that time. Whether it is an end of things, or a great change, many people believe that the earth will be really shaken up at that time. Of course the Bible says that nobody knows but the Father.

* Don't read into all these spiritual theories about when the earth will end, it may end tomorrow or it may end in billions of years. religion teaches people to be afraid, and only by giving your lives away to god will protect you for all eternity. If you go through your whole life worrying about religious propaganda you will not enjoy life. Take Mr. Zephaniah's prediction..it will come like a thief in the night...this preys on peoples emotion of fear, at night when most people are asleep and defenseless. Also only half the world is dark at any given time so his prediction is completely false. Enjoy your life, don't worry about earths end.

* The world will end when it is least expected is simply what the Bible says.

* You missed it. According to Matthew Matthew 10:23 Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. But the biblical city of Israel has been non-existent for a long time, and there's no way that "Ye could have gone to all cities of Israel.""After" the gospel is preached to all the nations of the earth. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end.Or; Maybe it has already came and we are now all Spirits. What the Bible says about the end of the world. The end will come within the lifetime of Jesus's listeners."Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." -- Matthew16:28

* This question is like asking us to tell you when you are going to die. No one knows when the end times will come, but, we should enjoy all of what we have and not waste our lives worrying.

* It will be here as long as we need it for our experiencing in order to learn and progress. It is our school room. This does not mean that we are incapable of destroying most of what is here so we have to go back to a more basic time. We've done it before. There was a time when we were even farther along than we are now, as far as technology is concerned. Hopefully there are enough of us that want to preserve what we have gained so far. The peace that will allow for this begins with each individual. It is up to each of us to decide whether we are part of the problem or part of the solution.
* There is a theory that the sun's flame will die out and the planets will freeze, but this was only a theory so we don't know if it is true.

* December 21, 2012 around afternoon.

* Maybe between 2017 to 2027. According to The Bible, not immediately. First, the Anti-Christ must rise to become world leader, rule for 7 years. The first 3 1/2 years will apparently be good, with world peace achieved by a one-world government. But the last 3 1/2 years, the world will be in a process of destruction. When almost everyone on Earth is killed by war, disease, famine, drought, earthquakes, etc. Christ will return and rule the Earth.

* Half way through the year 2830 the world (planet Earth) will implode.

* Nobody knows, not even Jesus Christ our Lord, except God. Read Matt 24.

* It ends when it ends

* Half way through the year 2830 the world (planet Earth) will implode.

Well,

To the knowledge of my i would say the world will never come to an end, its because birth and death is a continuous process and there is no end of it.

Moreover the advancement in technologies what we have now is just a result of very few % of human being's brain. Still a lot more to come in the way of world's future.

About the wars, it was there in past, present and it will be in future, may be the way of fighting will change but that doesnt mean that we are going to see the end of the world.

God is always there for everybody. so i guess it will never come to an end.

everything that has a birth has an end.
Earth was once created so it too has an end.
it may be now in 2 seconds, in 2012 or after 4000 yrs...

we can neither rely on these things nor can we ignore.
whatever... "dramatic end" is sure.
when...."i cant say"

2012 is a thing to consider. We cant just ignore it but we cant also disturb our life of today in hope of world ending soon.

Better live like you never die, atleast by this you wont lose anything now or in the future...

(if u ask me, i say, in 2012 there is going to be a change and not an end)

There is no a fundamented reason to believe that. Many people believe it because thay have hear that the Mayan Calenar stops in that year, but that doesn´t mean the world will end.

The aztecs used to think that there were five suns, one would be destroyed by fire, one by water, hurricane, meteors, and the final sun (one that we are on now) meteors. Or theres the other one that two wolves ate the moon and the sun and this snake had to kill them but the fumes from the snake killed everyhting on the earth and it just died.

I don't think so, but if it did, what would that mean?

Climate change is going to make it so that many people don't have enough food or water and there will be many more natural disasters, including more cyclones or hurricanes and fires. If I were you, I'd worry about things that are in my control!
