Yep, It's not just at 7 years. It can be at any time in a relationship when things aren't going great. You have to maintain self control. That is control over yourself and remember you are already in a relationship. It's unfair to involve your significant other in a 3-way without their permission. Keeping open communication and resolving your problem will help avoid alot of future heart ache and head aches.....Usually when a person strays outside of the relationship they later find out that the other person's flaws are 10 times worse than their significant other's and they would have been better off just working things out with that person.

How about the 7 year itch, and now the 14 year itch. We seem to have our "issues" on 7 yr cycles. Not sure this one will see us thru.
I think this time, one of us will run for the hills.

All marriages go through bad periods but if you get through them the marriage is usually stronger. It just takes lots of work and committment - something you wife did not have.

i get bored from time to time, but not enough to do severe damage to my marriage.
just means you are in a rut and need to stir things up a bit, make it a bit different, a bit newer, a bit exciting.
