I don't know if it should still be called a "music" channel since the only thing they play is road rules and other stupid shows. They had to come out with another channel MTV2, to play music on, but their converting it to shows now, too.
The only place you can watch music is the internet.

MTV was cool like 25 years ago, when the Police, Joan Jett, Madonna and Bryan Adams did promos now you have crappy shows like Next, Parental Control, Laguna Beach, The Hills Wild N Out, this network has abandoned their roots, so this network has to change its name or back to playing Music because this is ridicolous.

Well, my daughters, who are in the age group this network is aimed at, never watch it. They say it's because all MTV does is air boring reality shows. Even if it does play music, it's not the type they like anyway.

hell yea...4real MTV fell off hard as hell...im only 19 but shyt i remember when they had NUTTIN BUT music videos and TRL had Carson daily and actually played da whole music video, now they only play like 30 seconds of it and got freakin Reality Shows...nobody cares about True Life or Real World or ***** The OC...dey need 2 bring bak they way it wuz

We only have MTV Canada, so I can't really testify to that. But MTV raps owned.

i think it's just as stupid as it was 5 or ten years ago. it's pretty much a teenage nickelodeon now.
