Fake. If it was real, based on the rocks jutting out, that side mirror wouldn't be there any more. or would have turned in to keep from getting ripped off.

Just because of the proximity of the cliff on the passenger side and the mirror is still present, I would say it is faked. Here is a classic, true, underwear ruining accident:

God, I hope that is photo-shopped. My stomach tilted when I saw that. I get dizzy on a ladder. I would never get myself in such a situation.
