While the front or systems themselves do not, the thunderstorms that they often trigger can have tremendous electrical potential differences.

I have never have read or heard if they have any magnetic polarization though. I don't think so, but I am not positive about that.

No, it just means that in a cold front, cold air is about the replace warm air.
